2 Days 29 January, 2021 $410.00
After our north bound pickups, we pause at Burpengary for M/T, before making our way to Beerwah – home of the famous QLD Reptile and Fauna Park owned by the late Steve and Terri Irwin and of course not forgetting Bindi and Robert. This fauna park is home to some amazing creatures and features 14 shows daily. It’s time to encounter the world’s most venomous snakes and largest pythons. Demonstrations include croc feeding in the ‘Crocoseum’ and snake patting. The Irwin’s have also introduced Elephants and Tigers to their ever growing menagerie of exotic animals and have featured in several movies as well as amazing documentaries. Don’t miss Robert’s favourite, the new Meerkat encloser. All the money made by them has gone back into the zoo and towards wildlife preservation, and now this legacy lives on through Steve’s remarkable children. Lunch can be purchased at your own expense today at the Zoo Eatery or you are welcome to bring your own and enjoy a picnic on one of the many grassy areas. We then make our way to our overnight stay with time to relax or have a swim before Dinner (included). Don’t forget your ‘cossies’.
Overnight: Sebel, Pelican Waters.
