What a perfect time of year to visit the beautiful Moreton Bay region. After our northbound pickups we travel to Redland Bay for a lovely Morning tea. It’s now time for our Cruise leaving
from Victoria Point on the passenger Ferry and make our way across the calm waters of Main Channel on our round trip passing the Bay Islands. Macleay, Karragarra, Russell and Lamb Islands which make up part of the Moreton Bay Marine Park. The round trip on the Ferry takes about one hour before we return to Victoria Point. Then, travelling onto Ormiston House, one of
Queensland’s finest examples of heritage listed Colonial Architecture. Built in approx. 1862, magnificent Ormiston House was home to Captain Louis Hope who was known as the ‘father of the QLD Sugar industry’.Today we will have time to browse this beautiful property with friendly Guides along the way to answer any questions. This will be followed by a scrumptious HIGH TEA Lunch served in the beautiful gardens of Ormiston House, with a selection of sandwiches, cakes and slices. Relaxing in the Edwardian style surrounds and take a little step back in time. A time when elegant Tea Party’s where ‘the thing to do’!
